Nick Regina
Melbourne Central Catholic High School @President
Nick Regina has over 25 years of experience in the advancement and the management of Catholic Schools. He has a B.A. in English Education from LaSalle University and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Seton Hall University. He started his career as an English teacher at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken, New Jersey, where he also served as Director of Institutional Advancement. He went on to become the Senior Advancement Consultant for the Healey Education Foundation, the Foundation Director for the Lourdes Health System in Camden, New Jersey, the Executive Director of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Camden, the Deputy Secretary for Enrollment and Marketing for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is now the President at Melbourne Central Catholic High School in Melbourne, Florida. He has presented nationally for NCEA and for the International Catholic Stewardship Council.
Jennifer Trefelner
Director of Communications, Marketing & Social Media @Diocese of Palm Beach Director of Communications
Jennifer Melville Trefelner, APR, CPRC, is the Director of Communications, Marketing, & Social Media for the Diocese of Palm Beach. In this capacity she serves as the designated spokesperson for the Diocese in addition to managing media relations, public relations, developing data-driven communication plans, and implementing new marketing initiatives. In addition, her Office of Communications oversees the production of the weekly televised celebration of the Mass, the Florida Catholic (Palm Beach edition), Diocesan digital and printed materials, and she has initiated a comprehensive plan to coordinate information disseminated on the Diocesan website and social media sites.
Colleen Thompson
Marketing and Media Coordinator @Saint Gregory the Great Catholic School
Born in Illinois, Colleen moved to Virginia Beach in 1988 where she attended Sunday mass at Saint Gregory’s. She has a deeply rooted love for the school and church and was a founding member of the youth group program. She briefly moved to South Florida in 2000 to attend The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, working toward a degree in Computer Animation but ultimately choose to return home and earn a degree in Art Education from ODU. Before beginning at SGGS, Colleen taught preschool art with the children's educational program, Abrakadoodle, for 5 years before deciding to stay home with her kids. She now manages SGGS school social media platforms, website, yearbook, and school photography, while occasionally substitute teaching. She is also a member of the school's advancement team and collaborates on events, fundraisers, and various giving opportunities to benefit the school. She currently lives in Virginia Beach with my husband of 14 years and our three children who all attend SGGS.
