Dale McDonald, PBVM, PhD

Sister Dale McDonald, PBVM, Ph.D. is Director of Public Policy and Educational Research for the National Catholic Educational Association. In that capacity she serves NCEA and its members in policy analysis and advocacy regarding the national education policy issues impacting Catholic schools. Sr. McDonald collaborates with lobbyists for Catholic and private education associations to advance their interests in legislative activities on Capitol Hill and with the U.S. Department of Education, White House Domestic Policy Council and other federal agencies regarding education policy issues that impact private schools. Sr. McDonald earned a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from Boston College, an M.S. in Educational Administration from Pace University, an M.A. in American History and a B.S. in Elementary Education from Fordham University.
Jennifer Daniels
Associate Director for Public Policy, Secretariat of Catholic Education @USCCB
Jennifer Daniels serves as the Associate Director for Public Policy for the Secretariat of Catholic Education at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in Washington D.C. In this capacity, Jennifer represent Catholic schools, the nation’s largest private K-12 educator, before Congress and the executive branch on matters of federal education policy. She works to ensure equitable access for Catholic school students and teachers to federal programs such as the Every Students Succeeds Act (ESSA), Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), National School Lunch Program, Schools & Libraries Program (E-Rate) and to expand parental choice legislation at the state and federal level.
