Over her 35-year career, Trina has served as CEO, CAO, COO, superintendent, president & head of schools at corporate, public & private institutions. She has led online education, curriculum, and service organizations internationally for 3A Education, Virtual Schools of Excellence, Calvert Education Services, VSCHOOLZ, University of Miami, and Catholic Virtual.
Rob Birdsell
Executive Vice President @Amerigo Education
Rob Birdsell is an education entrepreneur who has been involved in the starting and scaling of multiple education organizations over his 27-year career. Rob is one of the founders and Executive Vice President of Amerigo Education. He is a member of the executive team at Amerigo, oversees the development of all school partnerships and is responsible for the organization’s real estate strategy. Rob is also the founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship in Education (ILEE) – a professional community for private school leaders. ILEE, a program of Amerigo, is a forum for school leaders to share best practices, discuss opportunities for improvement, develop professional relationships, and connect with great school leaders from like-minded communities. Rob also supports Catholic Virtual as Executive Vice President of Partnership Development.
Kevin Baxter
Chief Innovation Officer @National Catholic Educational Association
Dr. Kevin Baxter is the Chief Innovation Officer for the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA). His work is focused specifically on three areas of the organization’s strategic plan: leadership formation and succession planning, curriculum and pedagogical innovation at the school site level, and developing new governance and finance structures for Catholic schools. The ultimate aim is to see growth in Catholic schools across the U.S. by focusing on strong leadership at the school and diocesan level and creating innovative models that rest on a culture of continuous improvement. In the ten years prior to joining NCEA in July 2019, Dr. Baxter served as the Superintendent for Elementary Schools and then the Senior Director and Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, which has approximately 78,000 students. Dr. Baxter has been a part-time faculty member in the School of Education at Loyola Marymount University since 2002.
